James Robert Allen, 89, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late James and Rebecca (Allen) Allen, was born June 28, 1932 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, April 21, 2022 in Hodgenville at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.
He had made a profession of faith on Christ and was a member of the Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church and was a former flooring installer and enjoyed pitching horse shoes. He was a Veteran, having served in the United Stated Army.
He united in marriage on September 24, 1954 to Eldora (Beard) Allen, who preceded her in death on March 11, 2021.
passed away on Thursday in Hodgenville at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral Service: Sunday at 11 AM at Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation: 5-8 PM on Saturday at L.R. Petty Funeral Home and after 10 AM on Sunday at the church.
