Larry Read, 70, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Joseph Read and Nora Cruise Read, was born February 18, 1952 in Campbellsville, KY and departed this life Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care.

He professed his faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Larry enjoyed being a farmer and loved all his friends and family. He was a great husband, father, brother, son, friend, and he will be dearly missed.

Larry united in marriage to Brenda Tucker Read on October 28, 1978 and she preceded him in death on September 9, 2006.

4 sisters: Delois Jefferies, Edna Read, and Josephine Osbourne all of Campbellsville; Evelien Read of Edmonton

1 brother: John Read of Campbellsville

VISITATION: Friday, April 22, 2022 from 5pm-8pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville

FUNERAL: Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home

BURIAL: Pierce Cemetery in Green County

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for expressions of sympathy be taken in form of donations toward Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
