Ethel (Cline) Nimmie, 104, of Campbellsville, KY was born in Olive Hill, KY on August 29, 1917 to the late James and Amanda (Mullins) Cline. She departed this life on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at her home.

She was a professed Christian.

Mrs. Nimmie was the devoted wife of Mr. Samuel Nimmie, Sr., who preceded her in death. Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by 2 children: Daniel Nimmie, Sr. and Samuel Nimmie, Jr.; 6 siblings: Lloyd, Wade, Drusilla, Marcella, Alberta, and Leota; and a granddaughter, Eleanor Keith.

5 grandchildren: Rebecca Swain & husband Gary of Michigan, Curtis Nimmie, Daniel Nimmie & wife Lesa of Campbellsville, Brandy Lobb & husband Mike of Campbellsville, and Carmen Combs of Louisville

13 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren & 4 great-great-great grandchildren

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives & friends

Mrs. Nimmie had requested cremation. There was no public visitation.
