James A. Arnett, 83, was born October 15, 1938 in Bartholomew County, Indiana to the late Nardicle John and Molly Scrougham Arnett. He departed this life Monday, April 11, 2022 at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY.

He was a carpenter. 

He was united in marriage to Sally Miller Arnett, who preceded him in death. Besides his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by 3 sisters: Becky Smith, Darlene Stokes and JoAnn Gentry.

1 daughter & 2 sons: Sandra Arnett of Lebanon, Tennessee, Jimmy J. Arnett & wife Ora of Liberty, KY, and Carly Joe Arnett of Campbellsville, KY

1 brother: Norman Earl Love of Arizona 

1 sister: Diane of Columbus, Indiana

4 grandchildren: Amanda DeWitt, Christopher and Nicholas Olmstead and Cynthia Arnett

4 great-grandchildren: Rylee Lynn DeWitt, Colton, Sadie and Jaxon Olmstead
