Gracie Alice Perkins Bloyd, 106, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Other Perkins and Nannie Bett Price Perkins, was born on October 9, 1915 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at the Green Hill Rehab & Care Center.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ at an early age, was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She united in marriage to Garnett Bloyd on August 27, 1932 who preceded her in death on July 18, 2003.
SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Velma Louise Bloyd Sea and Shirley Etta Bloyd Roby both of Louisville; 2 grandchildren: Tammy Carol Morgan and Darlene Groves both of Louisville; a great-grandchild; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Bro. Dan Perkins of Magnolia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Bloyd was also preceded in death by her step-mother: Gertrude Perkins; a grandchild: Vondylon Morgan; brothers and sisters: Hazel Neagle, John Arthur Perkins, William Lewis Perkins, Ray Milby and Ora Willia Jeffries.
