L.P. Posey, 74, of Black Gnat Community of Green County, KY passed away Monday at the Campbellsville Health and Rehab Center. He was the son of the late Elbert Posey and Mae Rodgers Posey and was born on May 19, 1947 in Green County.
L.P. had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired woodworker for the former Greensburg Manufacturing Company, and a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM.

5 grandchildren: Jennifer Mays, Andrew Posey, Suade Posey, Cynthia Perkins, and Cecily Posey

Burial: Maple Hill Cemetery
Visitation: Thursday from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and after 7:00amCT on Friday at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Maple Hill Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
