Rachel Davis Smith, 87, of Green County, KY, daughter of the late E.W. “Washie” Davis and Mamie Cook Davis, was born on May 16, 1934 in Green County and departed this life on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Signature Health & Rehab Center in Horse Cave.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She united in marriage to Albert Junior Smith on June 16, 1949 who preceded her in death on November 16, 2009.

1 son & daughter-in-law: Gene & Debbie Smith of Louisville
2 daughters & a son-in-law: Sheila & Gary Knight of Hart County and Anessa Bright of Greensburg, KY
5 grandchildren: Brad Smith of Louisville, Jay Smith of Taylorsville, Nena Knight of Hart County, Hannah Fox and Jon Parrish both of Green County
10 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild

Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Wednesday at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Macedonia Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
