Hershel Hall, 87, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Margaret Hall-Rustin and Ray Rustin, was born January 3, 1935 in Rockport, Indiana and departed this life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in Campbellsville, KY.
Hershel professed his faith in Christ and was of Christian faith. He served in the United States Marines from 1953-1956. His passion was harness racing, he was a self-made owner, trainer, and driver of harness horses. Hershel loved playing cards especially solitaire. He was a loving dad and grandfather.
He united in marriage to Shirley Ann Marriner in 1954, who preceded him in death on April 30, 1970.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Lee Taylor; a sister, Donna Jean Jacobs; and a brother, Barney Hall.

2 sons: Richard Hall & wife Ann of Newburg, Indiana and Heith Hall & wife Connie of Campbellsville, KY
2 daughters: Doreen O’Hara & husband Joe of Midland, Texas and Debra Hall of Grand Falls, Texas
15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild
Visitation: Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 4:00pm-6:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in Campbellsville
Burial: Maplewood cemetery at Freehold, New Jersey at a later date
