Steven Lee Hessig, 68, was born July 5, 1953 in Jefferson County, KY to the late Jack Lee Hessig and Ruth Agnes Quinn Hessig. He departed this life Saturday, February 12, 2022 at his home in Green County.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a researcher for a law firm.

His former wife & friend: Angela Warren of Louisville

1 sister: Debbie Stallard of Greensburg

2 brothers & sisters-in-law: Rick Hessig and wife Linda and Larry Hessig and wife Connie of Louisville

12 grandchildren: Jack, Eliot, Cerria, Justin, Jacob, Alexa, Kaleb, Sydney, Kennedy, Rachel, Abigayle and Kinsley

Funeral service: Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 4:00pmCT at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Jacob Davis officiating. Following his wishes cremation will follow the funeral service. There will be no burial.

Visitation: After 12:00pmCT on Saturday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Taylor County Animal Shelter or the Green River Ministries Center. These can be made at the funeral Home.
