JUDY LILE CHILDERS, 67, EDMONTON, KY (FORMERLY OF GREENSBURG)

 
Judy Lile Childers, 67 of Edmonton, KY, formerly of Greensburg, KY passed away Sunday at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Campbellsville, KY on May 28, 1954, the daughter of Bill and Barbara Reece Lile of Greensburg.

Judy was an avid UK fan. She was the #1 fan and cheerleader of the Metcalfe County High School Band and all of the grandsons’ activities, baseball, scouts and 4-H. She was a longtime supporter of the Relay for Life, being a great role model and mentor to so many who fought cancer. She was a lifelong member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church.

Her husband: Kenneth “Ken” Childers of Edmonton
Her parents: Bill and Barbara Lile of Greensburg
2 daughters & a son-in-law:  Melody and Brian Baker of Center, and Faith Simpson of Edmonton
1 son & daughter-in-law: Darren and Sarah Childers of Indiana
6 grandchildren
1 brother: Terry Lile of Campbellsville
1 sister & brother-in-law: Mandy and Mike Cox of Greensburg

Funeral Service: Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 1:00pmCT at Greasy Creek Baptist Church in Greensburg 
 
Burial: Greasy Creek Cemetery
 
Visitation: Wednesday from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT at Butler Funeral Home and after 10:00amCT on Thursday at the church 
 
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Cancer Society of Metcalfe County, or the Metcalfe County Band Boosters.
