Linda Read Smith, 79, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Joe Read and Nora Cruise, was born October 20, 1942 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:00amET on Friday, February 4, 2022 in Hodgenville. 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. Linda was a very private person, sewing was her favorite activity.

SURVIVORS:

1 daughter, Wanda Shirrell and companion Eddie Nalley of Summersville

2 grandchildren: Raymond Shirrell of Campbellsville and Robert Shirrell of Greensburg

2 brothers and 4 sisters: John Read, Delores Jeffries, Edna Read, Evalean Read, Josie Osborne, and Larry Read

Many other relatives & friends

She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters: Robert Read, Joe Read, Glenn Read, Harry Read, Benny Read, Catherine Read, Norma Read, and Rosie Read.
