Ricky Joe Ford, 64, of Elk Horn, KY, son of the late Bobby Joe and Loretta (Wethington) Ford, passed from this life on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville after an extended illness. He was born in Taylor County on October 10, 1957.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Ford was a man of many talents, most notably as a master mechanic. With the ability to do just about anything he set his mind to, he especially enjoyed rebuilding old cars. One of his many showpieces was a ’68 Torino, of which he was distinctly proud. Of his many accomplishments in life (including playing guitar for the country music band Blackhawk), his family and grandchildren were paramount. His sweet smile and genuine good nature will be dearly missed.

6 grandchildren: Sarah, Drake, Kinzlee, Carson, Paislee, and Paiton Ford

His mother-in-law & father-in-law: Eugene Bradley and Linda Callahan

Visitation: Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 5:00pm-8:00pmET at the funeral home
