George Junior Gribbins, 88, of Campbellsville, KY passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born on January 6, 1934 to the late Benjamin Thomas and Annie Lee Jane (Wise) Gribbins. 

Mr. Gribbins had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a furniture builder by trade, and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Besides his parents, Mr. Gribbins was also preceded in death by 3 siblings: Charles Thomas Gribbins, James Doyle Gribbins, and Anna Marie Hagerty; and a granddaughter: Dana Mitchell Mann.

1 daughter: Lena Gail Gribbins

Friend & former spouse: Laverne Mitchell Wise

8 grandchildren: Leticia Gail Penrod and husband Daniel, Kaitlin Jane Warner and husband John, Austin Dean Gribbins and wife Kaylan, Angelica Hughes, Benjamin Forrest Hughes, Nathan Eric Mann, and Shannon Nicole Mann

Funeral service: Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Austin Dean Gribbins officiating 

Interment: Merrimac Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard

Visitation: After 10:00amET on Tuesday at the funeral home
