Joyce Carolyn Coffey, 73, of the Little Barren Community of Green County, KY, daughter of the late Sylvester Jeffries and Elsie Bell Wilson Jeffries, was born November 5, 1948 in Green County and departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2022 at TJ Samson Hospital in Glasgow. 

Joyce had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She worked at the Coffey Family Care Home for 22 years and loved living the farm life and working with cows.

Her husband of 49 years: Cecil Barkley “Buck” Coffey of the Little Barren Community
1 daughter & son-in-law: Tina Wynett & Glenn Wisdom and David Brian Coffey, of the Little Barren Community

1 granddaughter: Cecily Amber Wisdom of the Little Barren Community

2 sisters & a brother-in-law: Rita & Danny Curry and Jolene Jeffries, all of Green County

Mrs. Coffey was also preceded in death by three sisters: Barbara Wright, Linda Henderson, and Pam Moore.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 11:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Little Barren Cemetery.

Visitation: Monday, January 31, 2022 from 3:30pm-8:00pmCT and on Tuesday after 7:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
