Rosa Skaggs, 89, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Daisy Berry Richardson and Elmer Elder Richardson, was born December 20, 1932, in Taylor County, KY. She died at 9:26 A.M. on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in Campbellsville.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Rosa was a retired real estate broker and owner and operator of Rosa Skaggs Realty. She enjoyed gardening and her yard was more like a beautiful park with its own water feature. The time she spent tending to her flower gardens was evident everywhere you looked.

Rosa united in marriage to Otha Barbee Skaggs June 2, 1951 and he preceded her in death on January 21, 2018.

SURVIVORS:

1 son and 2 daughters: Steve Skaggs & wife Karen, Sharon Wood & husband George and Debbie Skaggs of Campbellsville

3 grandchildren: Tim Wood & wife Sarah, Jessica Lawson & husband Jeremy, and Kelly Lobb Harris & husband James Jr.

3 great-grandchildren: Alexia Lobb, Ashley Wilhoit and Samantha Wilhoit

2 brothers: Charles Richardson & wife Phyllis of Campbellsville and Jimmy Richardson & wife Carlotta of Lebanon

Rosa was also preceded in death by her brother, Joe Richardson.
