Elmer H. "Buck" Lowery, 80, of Green County, KY was born on August 18, 1941 in Bradfordsville, KY to the late Wesley and Kitty Belle (Russell) Lowery. He departed this life on January 23, 2022 in Green County.

Buck professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Union Separate Baptist Church. He retired from Fruit of the Loom after 30+ years of service. He loved to spend his free time fishing and being with his grandkids.

5 children: Mark Kessinger and wife Renee of Campbellsville, Chris Lowery and fiancee Shellvonia of Campbellsville, Debbie Henderson and husband Billy of Greensburg, Leon Kessinger and wife Joan of Hodgenville, and Ricky Kessinger and wife Mary of Hodgenville
10 grandchildren: Ashley Kessinger, Marcus Kessinger, Logan Kessinger, Mariah Lowery, Whitney Kessinger, Emily Kessinger, Wesley Kessinger, Allison Kessinger, Ashley Davis, and Tiffany Cornish
A host of other extended family members and friends
   

He was also preceded in death by Virginia Lowery, and three sisters and four brothers.
   

Funeral Service: Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY

Interment: Union Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in Buffalo

Visitation: Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 PM EST (4:00-7:00 PM CST) at the funeral home
