SHIRLEY LARIMORE FRENCH, 85, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

Shirley Larimore French, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Grandville Gilbert and Flossie Green Gilbert, was born February 10, 1936 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 9:52 P.M., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Elizabethtown.   

 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Church of God. Shirley was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She enjoyed shopping and yard sales, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling out and about with Cliff.

 

She united in marriage to James Harold Larimore December 4, 1954 and he preceded her in death August 5, 1992.  She later united in marriage to Clifford E. French October 12, 1996.  

 

Besides her husband, Clifford E. French of Campbellsville, Shirley is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Kathy Larimore of Campbellsville; two step-children:  Twyla French of Louisville and Tony French of Massachusetts; four grandchildren:  Drew Larimore of Campbellsville, Devin Larimore of Louisville, Blake Durrett and wife, Whitney of Tonieville and Andrea Shuffett and husband, Ashley of Green County; four step-grandchildren:  Troy French and wife, Diana of Okinawa, Japan, Tracy French, Bryan French and Jason French of Louisville; four great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters:  Wendell Gilbert and wife, Judy, Brenda Skaggs and husband, Twyman and Donna Burris and husband, Ernie of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. 

 

Shirley was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Renee Durrett.

 

VISITATION: 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey

 

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro. Evan Tedder and Bro. Blake Durrett

 

BURIAL: Brookside Cemetery
