Maurice Taylor Beard, 77, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Clem Taylor Beard and Mahauta “Tat” Kathleen Nunn Beard, was born on Thursday, April 27, 1944 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his home.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, and attended the Community Baptist Church. Mr. Beard was also a retired driver for Ron and Brenda’s Transport and was a former manufacturing and factory worker.

His long-time companion: Norma Houk of Greensburg
1 son & daughter: Robbie Beard of Greensburg and Cindy Milby of Campbellsville
2 bonus children: Marcia Penick and Jeff Houk, both of Greensburg
5 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren
2 sisters & brothers-in-law: Cheryl & Doug Shive and Ginger & Jimmy Wilcoxson, both of Green County

Memorial Service: Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10:00amCT at the Community Baptist Church in Green County.
Visitation: After 9:00amCT on Thursday at the Community Baptist Church
