Guinevere K. Jones, 82, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Corsby Leo Gentry and Ruth Elizabeth Kidwell Gentry, was born on Sunday, January 1, 1939 in Green County and on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her home, she closed her piano lid for the last time and moved to her heavenly home. In her own words, she felt “She had a good and blessed life”.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Summersville Baptist Church. She started playing the piano at church at 11 years old, and she had worked for Green County Headstart for several years.

2 grandchildren: Sarah Rose Davis & husband Patrick and Adam Jones Davis, both of Greensburg
3 great-grandchildren: Jayelyn Rose Davis and Micah Layne Davis both of Greensburg, KY; Georgia Mae Davis (and her mother Lyndsey) of Bowling Green

Burial: Oak Grove Separate Baptist Cemetery
Visitation: Saturday from 3:00pm-8:00pmCT and after 7:00amCT on Sunday at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or to Kosair Charities, which can be made at the funeral home.
