Dorothy Pierce, 91, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Ray Spratt and Annie Ermine Skaggs Spratt, was born May 4, 1930 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Campbellsville.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher’s aid with the Taylor County School System. Dorothy was also a former volunteer with the Taylor Regional Hospital Auxiliary for more than 30 years and loved to travel at every opportunity.

Dorothy united in marriage to Bill Pierce December 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death January 21, 2000.

SURVIVORS:

1 daughter and son-in-law: Wanda and Johnny Grammer of Hendersonville, Tennessee

2 grandsons: Tommy Grammer and wife Corday Rice of Arlington, Washington and Robbie Grammer of Hendersonville, Tennessee

1 great-granddaughter: Lilli Grammer of Hendersonville, Tennessee

Special cousin (who was like a sister): Mary Helen Sprowles of Campbellsville

Several nieces and nephews

Many other relatives and friends

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Louise Pierce April 28, 1978 and a brother, Glenn Spratt.
