Scott Larame Mardis, 44, of Campbellsville, KY, son of Larry Thomas Mardis and Carolyn Ann Shofner Mardis both of Campbellsville, was born June 27, 1977 in Taylor County and departed this life on Friday, November 19, 2021 at his home.

He professed his faith in Christ at an early age was a firm believer. Scott worked for Larry’s Construction for over 25 years with his father. He was an avid reader that enjoyed reading about American history, the Civil War, the Constitution, and politics. He also enjoyed collecting Star Wars memorabilia.

2 brothers: James Mardis & wife Brandy and Jeff Mardis, both of Campbellsville

1 sister: Shanon O’Banion & husband Jonathan of Campbellsville

2 uncles: Terry Mardis and his wife, Debbie and Gary Walters and his wife Denise, all of Campbellsville.

1 aunt: Judy Donley Henderson of Sherman, IL

3 nephews: Landon O’Banion, Layton O’Banion and Willie Key

1 niece: Jamie Lynn Mardis

FUNERAL:  Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 2:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville

VISITATION:  Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 5pm- 8pmET at Auberry Funeral Home 

Pallbearers: Jonathan O’Banion, James Mardis, Jesse Walters, Michael Mardis, Brian Mardis and Travis Hunt

Burial: Brookside Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for expressions of sympathy be taken in the form of Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
