Mary Layne Jackson, 73, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late John Bryant King and Beulah White King, was born on Saturday, March 27, 1948 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Kensington Center in Elizabethtown, KY.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and was a Certified Nursing Assistant.
She united in marriage to Scott Jackson who preceded her in death on February 14, 2003.

2 daughters and sons-in-law: Eva & Jeff Milby of Greensburg, and Missy & Tommy Sandefur of Louisville
1 son & daughter-in-law: Robert Dale & Denise Buckner of Indiana
8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren
2 brothers and a sister-in-law: Brinkley & Kathy King of Greenville, and Benny King of Elizabethtown

Per Mrs. Jacksons wishes, cremation was chosen. No formal visitation or services at this time.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Kensington Center, which can be made at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.
