CARL THOMAS BERRY, 87, GREENSBURG, KY

 

Carl Thomas Berry, 87, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Willie Thomas Berry and Beatrice Pearl Parson Berry, was born on Monday, July 30, 1934 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. 


He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Green Hill Baptist Church where he was also a Deacon. Mr. Berry was a skilled self-employed carpenter and was also a veteran having served in the United States Army.


SURVIVORS:

His wife of 67 years: Julia Ann Rodgers Berry of Greensburg
2 daughters and sons-in-law: Pam and Danny Bills, and Tracy and Mike Bills all of Greensburg

3 grandchildren: Chelsea Bills of Louisville, Natalie Curry and husband Grant, Grayson Bills and wife Baylee, all of Greensburg

3 great-grandchildren: Finn Curry, Norah Curry and Ruby Curry, all of Greensburg

A host of other relatives & friends.


Mr. Berry was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Charlotte Ann Berry in 1955.

Funeral Service: Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00pmCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Bro. Steve James and Bro. Pat Smith officiating
 
Burial: Liberty Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Marion County Veteran’s Honor Guard

Walk-through visitation: Friday from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7:00amCT on Saturday. Per family request, masks are required during visitation.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
