Alexander “Alex” Keith Gupton, 26, of Campbellsville, KY, son of Darren Gupton and Angela Skaggs both of Campbellsville, was born on April 7, 1995 in Hardin County and departed this life on Saturday, November 6, 2021.

Alex professed his faith in Christ and was of Christian faith. He attended 3Trees Church in Campbellsville. Alex was a 2013 graduate of Taylor County High School. He started playing football at 5 years old and proudly wore #25 football jersey for the Taylor County Cardinals where he played many positions throughout his high school career. He was an avid UK and Colts fan. He enjoyed hunting, working, and loved his family. He was currently employed by Caldwell Tanks as a "TANKIE" welder building water towers. He was known by his family and friends as “being tougher than nails.”  Alex attended WKU and Lexington Community College.

1 brother: Jake Gupton of Campbellsville

5 sisters: Joscelyn Milby, Macaela Hansford, Saylor Gupton, Hannah Gupton, and Sawyer Gupton, all of Campbellsville

Grandparents: David and Rita Byrne of Leitchfield and Tretha Dugger of Campbellsville

1 niece & 1 nephew

Alex was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerry Dugger.

VISITATION: Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 6:00pm-8:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home
