Dorothy Mae Edrington, 93, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Sam Nelson and Ida Stearman Nelson, was born February 18, 1928 in Taylor County and passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Grandview Nursing Home. 

Dorothy professed her faith in Christ and was of the Presbyterian faith. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after 30 years.

She was married to Joe Edrington in 1967 and he preceded her in death on April 4, 2001. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Bertha Veatch and Ermine Harris and a brother, Shelby Nelson.

SURVIVORS:

2 sons: Richard Simpson & wife Sandy and Danny Simpson & wife Norma, both of Campbellsville

5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren

Several nieces & nephews along with other family members and friends

FUNERAL: Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 2:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens
