Raymond Wood, 68, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late David Guy Wood and Ethel Dile Wood, was born December 24, 1952 in Jefferson County, KY. He died at 12:33 A.M. on Friday, October 8, 2021 in Lebanon, KY.  

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church. Raymond was a very talented hairdresser and instructor for many years. He was a very loving “Poppy” and “Daddy” to his children and grandchildren.

He united in marriage to Janet Giles June 5, 1981 and she preceded him in death December 21, 2020.

3 grandchildren: Kolton Railley, Konnar Railley and Karley Railley

4 sisters & 4 brothers: Norma Wright and husband Kelly, Helen Rainwater, Melva Wood, Sue Hunt and husband Jim, George Wood and wife Sharon, Joe Wood and wife Vickie, Guy Wood and wife Rebecca, Bobby Wood and wife Rebecca all of Campbellsville

He was preceded in death by one brother, David Wood.
