BARBARA VIRGINIA EASTRIDGE MOORE, 81, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

Barbara Virginia Eastridge Moore, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late John Sanders Eastridge and Effie Eula (Light) Sanders was born in Taylor County, on October 21, 1939 and departed this life peacefully at University of Louisville Hospital on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

 

She professed her faith in Christ and was a member of St. Marks Methodist Church in Campbellsville.  Barbara was a self-employed beautician for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening.

 

She united in marriage to Murray Patrick “Pat” Moore on April 21, 1962 who survives.

2 daughters: Tammy Jude & husband Calvin of Campbellsville, KY and Lana Newton & husband Mark of Elizabethtown, KY

6 grandchildren: Jessica Gabbert & husband David of Campbellsville; Beth Munford & husband Josh of Campbellsville; John Newton & wife Catherine of Elizabethtown; Joshua Newton of Bowling Green; Samuel Newton of Illinois; and Olivia Newton of Elizabethtown

5 great-grandchildren: Katie and Caleb Munford of Campbellsville; Zachery and Evan Gabbert of Campbellsville; and James Newton of Elizabethtown

2 step-great-grandchildren: Cage and Cassiel Ostergren of Elizabethtown

1 sister: Rose Kingsbury of Campbellsville

 

Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Calvin Eastridge, Lee Eastridge, Annie Roberts, and Naomi Collins.

 

VISITATION:  Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pmET at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Campbellsville, KY

 

FUNERAL: Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 1:00pmET at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Lannie Garner and Bro. Richard Lowe officiating 

 

Pallbearers: John Newton, Joshua Newton, Samuel Newton, David Gabbert, Joshua Munford, and George Wood.

 

BURIAL: Eastridge Cemetery in Elkhorn, KY
