Loris Janel Pruitt Hamilton, 86, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late James Robert Gowen and Matha Florence Carter Gowen, was born Thursday, September 19, 1935 in Green County and departed this life on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Jane Todd Hospital in Greensburg.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She was a retired L.P.N. and worked for the Baptist East Hospital for 23 years.

1 son: Rev. Michael Steven Pruitt of Richmond, KY
4 grandchildren: Jessica Pruitt, Shannon Pruitt, & Jennifer Lynn Pruitt all of Richmond, KY; Melissa & Steve Rousey of Liberty, KY; and Chester & Julie Humphrey of Nashville, TN
4 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild
