CLEO UNDERWOOD, 91, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

Cleo Underwood, 91, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Earlie Blakeman and Alma Coffey Blakeman, was born February 17, 1930 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 6:48 P.M. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Campbellsville.

 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Cleo was a homemaker and formerly a member of the Homemakers Club. She loved decorating her church and cooking for her church and family.

 

She united in marriage to “Jody” Blond Underwood February 1, 1947 and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2014.

1 son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Brenda Underwood of Elk Horn, KY

2 grandchildren: Cathy Murray & husband Shaun of Greensburg, KY and Stephanie Conn & husband Joey of Columbia, KY

4 great-grandsons: Dylan Conn, Dawson Conn, Dax Conn and Casen Murray

1 brother & 2 sisters: Mickey Blakeman & wife Judy of Ft. Worth, Texas; Barbara Loyall of Brentwood, Tennessee; and Nora Graybeal of Paducah, KY

Special friends: Bernice Cox, Linda Edrington, Carol Blakeman, Shirley Bright and Diane Coomer

Cleo was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Joseph Dane Conn and 3 sisters and 6 brothers: Edna Parrott, Temple Kirtley, Lula Cravens, Earlie Blakeman Jr., Melvin Blakeman, Craddock Blakeman, Olin Blakeman, Bobby Blakeman and Leo Blakeman in infancy.
