Cora Lee Mitchell Young, 68, was born September 12, 1952 in Green County, KY to the late Lewis Johnson Mitchell and Faye Lane Scott Mitchell. She departed this life Saturday, September 11, 2021 at her home in Greensburg.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Greensburg. She was a retired Phlebotomist, having worked at the Sycamore Memorial Hospital for 2 years, Jane Todd Crawford Hospital for 38 years, and 25 years for Green Hill Manor Nursing Home.  

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death one  sister, Sharon Mitchell; one brother-in-law, Todd Moser; and one great niece, Zhon'a Young.

2 daughters: Marva Schrembs and Myra Brown (Rich), both of Greensburg

1 son: Marty Young (Kristi) of Greensburg

3 brothers: Wilson Mitchell (Ramona) of Marengo, Illinois, Herman Mitchell of Sycamore, Illinois and Kelley Mitchell (Shannon) of Campbellsville, KY

3 sisters: Patricia Moser of DeKalb, Illinois, Ida Mitchell-Keller (Tracy) of Cortland, Illinois, and Mary Mitchell-Butts (David) of DeKalb, Illinois

11 grandchildren: Nicholas Sehlinger, Darian and Mya Schrembs, Isaiah and Isaac Young, Lyrik Marr, Ryan, Micahla and Jayla Sears, Caselynn and Remy Brown

8 great-grandchildren: Bennett and Luke Schrembs, Rhylee Riggs, Luxten and Ledger Marr, Daxton and Mihlaya Sears and Adler Reardon

Special niece: DeVona McElroy

Special great nephew: Zachary Young
