Delene Lewis Cox, 74, son of the late Rudolph Cox and Bernice Helms Cox, was born on Thursday, January 9, 1947 in Taylor County, and departed this life on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the Greensburg Family Care Home in Green County.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the St. Mark United Methodist Church in Campbellsville. He was a former cutting room lineman for Fruit of the Loom, Inc. for 25 plus years, and was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army.

Graveside service: Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11:00amCT at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Green County with full military honors.
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the service arrangements.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
