Richard “Ricky” Appleby, 50, the son of Allen Appleby and the late Darlene (Clements) Appleby, was born February 27, 1971 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Campbellsville at Taylor Regional Hospital.

Ricky enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and making people laugh and was just a simple man and was a press operator until his health declined.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Appleby.

A private graveside service will be conducted at Tallow Creek Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.
