Vivian Elaine Cochran, 74, of the Elk Horn community of Taylor County, KY passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her home. Daughter of the late Delmar and Bernice (Herron) Hayes, she was born in Taylor County on February 13, 1947.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Stoner Creek United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Cochran. Later, she was also preceded in death by long-time companion, Don Ball.

1 daughter: Robin Tucker & husband Roger of Elk Horn, KY

1 brother: Joe Hayes of Taylor County, KY

2 sisters: Delilah Cruise & husband Bobby of Hodgenville, KY; Tanya Crain & husband Robert of Taylor County, KY

5 grandchildren: Jessica Matthews, Justin Matthews and wife Brandi, Amber Walls, David Walls, and China Walls

Mrs. Cochran had requested cremation. There will be a memorial service to honor her life on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 11:00amET in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Rev. Tara Hall and Rev. John Hall will be officiating.
