LENA BELL HARMON DIAL, 101, GREENSBURG, KY


Lena Bell Harmon Dial, 101, of Green County, KY, daughter of the late Wills Harmon and Mary Jane Bryant Harmon, was born on Wednesday, September 10, 1919 in Adair County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at her home.
 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, attended the Holly Grove Baptist Church and was a homemaker. 

She united in marriage to Lucian Dial on August 15, 1936 who preceded her in death on September 26, 1974. 


SURVIVORS:

5 sons and 4 daughters-in-law: William & Josie Dial of Greensburg, Luther & Brenda Dial of Summersville, Johnnie & Regina Dial, and Bobby Dial all of Green County, Billy & Leeta Dial of Campbellsville

4 daughters and sons-in-law: Cora Mae & David Armer of Green County, Magaline & James Skaggs of Campbellsville, Sue & Bill Murrey of Green County, and Janie & Jim Borders of Campbellsville and son-in-law, Larry Eads of Summersville

21 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren

A host of other relatives and friends


Mrs. Dial was also preceded in death by a daughter: Doris Eads on September 30, 2010; and three brothers and five sisters.

Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon Central Time on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Columbia City Cemetery in Adair County. Bro. Dannie Nelson and Bro. Leslie Jewell officiating. 

Visitation: 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Thursday and after 7 A.M., Friday until time of the funeral service. 

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Holly Grove Baptist Church, which can be made at the funeral home.
