KENYATTA BRIDEWATER, 43, GREENSBURG, KY

 

Kenyatta Bridgewater, 43, was born August 12, 1977 in Greensburg, KY to Jennifer Edelen of Louisville and the late Johnny Dowell. He departed this life Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

 

Kenyatta had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He poured concrete and enjoyed fishing, noodling, and NHRA Drag Racing. 

 

He was preceded in death by one great-grandmother, Edna Mae Mitchell; his grandfather, Joe Bridgewater; and a nephew, Bre’don Ford.

His mother: Jennifer Edelen of Louisville

1 son: Duston Bridgewater of Campbellsville

4 daughters: Nakaya Bridgewater, Kenya Bridgewater, Kenzlee Bridgewater all of Campbellsville and Lalia Nash of Louisville

1 granddaughter: Caliah Bridgewater

1 brother: Joseph Bridgewater

3 sisters: Monsontalia Miller of Louisville, Davidia Edelen and Erika Mitchell-Ford both of Campbellsville

Grandmother: Dean Bridgewater of Campbellsville

Funeral Service: Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 1:00pmCT at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. David Mitchell, Master of Ceremony and Rev. Jarrell Hill, Eulogy

 

Burial: Bridgewater- Groves- Caldwell Cemetery

 

Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Saturday

 

Pallbearers: Billy “Bud” Gartin, Daniel Matney, Ryan Barnett, Stephan Mitchell, Sean Arthur, Anthuro Alexander
