Raymond “Ray” Benaitis, 78, of Moss Road in Campbellsville, KY passed away early Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at his home. He was the son of the late Anthony and Helen (Brazaitis) Benaitis and was born October 2, 1942 in Chicago, IL.
Ray had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. He was a precision grinding machinist. Ray, as he was mostly called, was an opera music fanatic and enjoyed singing it as well. He liked country and western music, enjoyed cooking and was a fix-it man. He also enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.

4 children: Raymond Benaitis, Jr & wife Shannon, Sean Benaitis & wife Dannette, Anita Daniels and David Gall, all of Illinois
3 sisters: Alvina and Helen Ann both of Illinois and Katherine & husband David of Indiana
13 grandchildren & a host of great-grandchildren
