Wayne Alan Hammond, 55, of Campbellsville, KY, son of Jane Ann (Ritchey) Hammond of Campbellsville and the late Marion Hammond, Jr., was born February 2, 1966 in Fayette County and departed this life peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 2, 2021 at his home in Campbellsville.
He professed in faith in Christ and was of Baptist faith. Wayne had a passion for nature and loved hiking and camping. He had a skill for woodworking and made many projects in his spare time.

2 sisters: Monica Hammond of Elizabethtown, KY and Jennifer Berry & husband Chad of Campbellsville, KY
3 nieces: Samantha Berry of Elizabethtown, KY; Cyan Berry & significant other Jeremy Steward of Campbellsville, KY; and Sumara Berry of Campbellsville, KY
The family chose cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Mental Health Awareness and can be made at the funeral home.
