Monica Lynn Martin, 35, of Campbellsville, KY passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green following an extended illness. She was born on June 27, 1985 to Emma (Persinger) Perez and the late Ernesto Gonzalez.

Monica had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith. She was a caring and compassionate lady, and regularly opened her heart and home. Her hospitality, love, and kind-hearted spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

5 siblings: Jennifer Persinger of Campbellsville, Korina Young of Tennessee, Benjamin and wife Jessica Wyvern of Australia, Maria and husband Joseph Butler of Campbellsville, and Isabel Gonzalez Leon of Mexico

1 granddaughter: Adelaide Humphress

11 nieces & nephews: Daisy Baker, Tristan Hovious, Cameron Bright, Peaches Young, Aaliyah Nunez, Lindsey Young, Peyton Young, Laina Butler, Jacob Baker, Grayson Hovious, and Kennedy Bright

Funeral Service: July 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Cremation will be accorded her following the service.

Visitation: Friday, July 2, 2021 after 9:00 AM at the funeral home
