OBITS

ERNEST DREXEL CURRY, 66, GREENSBURG, KY

Ernest Drexel Curry, 66, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Ernest Curry and Laverne Slinker Curry, was born on April 10, 1955 in Louisville, KY and departed this life after a long illness on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow, KY.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Farmdale Baptist Church in Louisville. Drexel was a hard worker and somewhat of a “jack-of-all-trades”. Some of his occupations included Alcoa Aluminum, Cox’s Cabinet Company and most recently his self-owned business-ADC Builders. Drexel’s interests were as numerous and varied as his abilities. He loved the outdoors, hunting, trail riding, raising animals, bartering and trading almost anything to name a few. However, there was nothing Drexel loved more than to sit and tell a story, of this he was a master! Everyone who had the privilege of knowing him will miss sitting for hours and listening totally immersed in his stories, laughing and enjoying every word as he captivated their hearts and minds.
