MARGARET ANN FAIN, 87, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

Margaret Ann Fain, 87, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Lee Gaines and Lorena Russell Gaines, was born December 12, 1933 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 7:44 A.M. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Campbellsville.

 

Margaret professed faith in Christ and was a charter member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church where she was active in WMU. She was a former employee of Taylor County Bank and City Finance. Margaret was a 50-year member of the Harmony Homemakers Club, a volunteer at Campbellsville Independent Schools and a leader with the Girl Scouts for 12 years.

 

Margaret united in marriage to Bernard Fain August 1, 1953 and he preceded her in death March 14, 2020.

 

SURVIVORS:

1 son and 1 daughter: Brad Fain and wife Janiene of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Lori Sharp of Louisville

4 grandchildren: Jeananne Amaya and husband Carlos and Becca Stout and husband Justin of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Brandon Fain and wife Danielle of Ft. Worth, Texas and Timothy Sharp of Louisville

4 great-grandchildren: Luke Amaya, Camila Amaya, Brynna Stout and Jeter Monroe Stout

1 brother: David Gaines and wife Betty Sue of Frankfort

1 sister-in-law: Carolyn Gaines Howard of Campbellsville

Several nieces & nephews and many other relatives & friends

 

Margaret was also preceded in death by a son, Doug Fain January 29, 1979 and two brothers: Donald Gaines and Arthur Russell Gaines.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 25, 2021 at Green River Memorial Baptist Church in Campbellsville by Rev. Jamie Bennett and Rev. Don Gowin

 

BURIAL: Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery
