Violet Denise Bagby, 59, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Curtis Cox and Helen (Sallee) Cox, was born November 17, 1961 in Marion County, KY and departed this life peacefully on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at her home in Campbellsville.

She professed her faith in Christ and was of Baptist faith. Denise loved sewing, gardening, fishing, and truly had a great sense of humor.  She had a loving servants heart and was a great caregiver to others in need.

SURVIVORS:

Husband of 17 years: Kevin Jeffries

2 sons: Jeramie Bagby & fiancé' Brandy York of Campbellsville, KY; Shawn Bagby & wife Lindsey of El Paso, Texas

1 granddaughter: Braylee Tucker of El Paso, Texas

1 sister & 1 brother: Sandra Burkhead of Louisville, KY; Ricky Cox & his significant other Judy Simpson of Mannsville, KY 

Along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, Denise is preceded in death by two sons:  Glen Bagby and Corey Bagby, along with two brothers, Steve Cox and Curtis Cox, Jr. 

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 1:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Alex Cox officiating

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

VISITATION: Wednesday from 10:00am-1:00pmET
