WILLIAM LEWIS WARREN, 85, SUMMERSVILLE, KY

 

William Lewis Warren, 85, of Summersville, KY was born on October 14, 1935 to the late Willie L. and Elsie R. Stearman Warren. He departed this life on June 4, 2021 at his home.


He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Abilene, Texas and Okinawa, Japan. He was the owner of the Summersville Feed Mill for 47 years. He was a Kentucky Colonial and a former member of the William B. Allen Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed many activities such as golf, softball and horseback riding.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lee Hads Warren on August 29, 2020 having united in marriage on June 27, 1958.


SURVIVORS:

3 children: Dean & Ruth Warren of Summersville, KY; Barbie & Eddie Milby of Summersville, KY; Savonna Warren of Los Angeles, California

2 grandchildren: Ashley Milby & fiance’ Josh Strain of Orlinda, Tennessee; Jared Milby & fiance’ Ashley Bowles of Summersville, KY

2 step-grandchildren and their spouses: Stan & Morgan White and Sydnie & Keith Fields, both of Greensburg, KY

8 great-grandchildren

1 sister and brother-in-law: Donna & Everett McCubbin of Hudgins

2 brothers and sisters-in-law: Shelby & LeEtta Warren of Lexington, KY and Jerry & Karen Warren of Greensburg, KY

Graveside Service: Monday, June 7, 2021 at Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville with Bro. Daniel Marcum officiating

The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, which can be made at the funeral home.
