BETTY LOU FORD COX, 84, ELKHORN, KY

 

Betty Lou Ford Cox, 84, of Elkhorn, KY, daughter of the late Willard Ford and Minnie Jewell (Ward) Ford was born August 6th, 1936 in Taylor County and departed this life peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at her home in Elkhorn.

 

Betty professed faith in Christ and was a member of Feathersburg Church of God of Elkhorn, Kentucky. She was an active member of Feathersburg Church of God Women WCG. Betty was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom of 30+ years as a machine operator. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was a devoted supporter of her family.  She truly enjoyed cooking for her entire family and church family.

 

Betty united in marriage to Harold L. Cox on June 25th,1955, and preceded her in death on March 9th, 1999. 

 

SURVIVORS:

1 son: Tony & wife Shirley Cox of Campbellsville, KY

2 daughters: Cindy & husband Larry Cox; Kim & husband Rodney Cox, both of Campbellsville, KY

6 grandchildren:  Kay Cox & wife Dee of Mt. Sterling, KY; Alex Cox & wife Ashley, Beth Auker & husband Jason, Dusty Cox (Christy), Eathan Cox and Jewell Cox, all of Elkhorn, KY

3 great-grandchildren: Lance Auker, Kelsi Auker, and Noah Cox, all of Elkhorn, KY

1 sister: Sue Cox of Elkhorn, KY

Along with many other family, friends, and relatives

 

Besides her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Jackson Dean Cox.

 

VISITATION:  Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 5pm-8pm EST, at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville, Kentucky.

 

FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 1:00pm EST, at Feathersburg Church of God in Elkhorn, KY

 

Visitation: Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 9am EST. till time of funeral at the church

 

Auberry Funeral Home in Campbellsville is in charge of arrangements and services.
