Donna Louise Burris, 86, the daughter of the later Wilburn and Lucille (Breeding) Hamilton, was born August 14, 1934 in Adair County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Taylor Regional Hospital. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bible Baptist Tabernacle and a homemaker. Donna enjoyed eating out, riding around seeing the beauty of nature and spending time with family.

She united marriage to Jim Garnett Burris, who preceded him in death in 2018.

SURVIVORS:

2 sons: Phillip Burris & wife Darlene and Todd Burris & wife Theresa, both of Campbellsville

2 brothers: Dickie “Pete” Hamilton & wife Marketa and Dixie “Shorty” Hamilton & wife Linda, both of Campbellsville

3 grandchildren: Anthony Burris, Shannon Burris & wife Ranita and Wesley Todd Burris

5 great-grandchildren

Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Cutler officiating

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens 

Visitation: Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home
