MARY E. (GRAHAM) MURPHY, 69, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

Mary E. Murphy, 69, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late George Thurman Graham and Zana (Bottoms) Graham, was born on July 20, 1951 in Madisonville, KY and departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 surrounded by her family at Taylor Regional Hospital.

 

Mary professed her faith in Christ and was of Baptist faith. She lived most of her life in Campbellsville, KY. Mary was known to her family, friends, and throughout the community as a very loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She was the kind of person, who showed compassion and empathy to all and this is why she is lovingly known as "Little Momma" to all who knew her.

 

Mary worked as a CNA at Metzmeier Nursing Home of Campbellsville, KY and Green Hill Manor in Greensburg, KY where she continued to show her compassion in caring for others. Mary loved to listen to music and sing. She had compassion for gardening and generally being outdoors with her flowers and listening to the birds. She especially had a love for hummingbirds.

 

SURVIVORS:

1 son: George Henry Colvin of LaGrange, KY

1 daughter-in-law: Jeannie Colvin of Campbellsville, KY

6 grandchildren: Brandon Colvin & wife Lauren of Prospect, KY; Amanda Colvin of Campbellsville, KY; Stormy Hall and husband Derick of Knifley, KY; Austin Colvin & wife Katelyn of Campbellsville, KY; Haley Colvin of Cave City, KY; and Paisley Powell of Elizabethtown, KY

9 great-grandchildren

3 brothers: Bobby Graham & wife Connie of Las Vegas, Nevada; Carl Graham of Campbellsville, KY; and Dwight Graham & wife Cula of Bowling Green, KY

Special aunt: Corrine Sublett of Campbellsville, KY

Along with many other family, friends, and relatives

 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Lee Colvin and 2 brothers: George Lewis Graham and Edmund Monroe Graham.

 

WALK-THRU VISITATION:  Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 6pm-8pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville

 

FUNERAL SERVICE:  Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home with Bro. Raymon Hollins officiating

 

BURIAL: Jones Chapel Cemetery

 

PALLBEARERS:  Brandon Colvin, Austin Colvin, Mikey Graham, Dwight Graham, Lonnie Fry, Jr., and Derick Hall.

 

Social distancing guidelines and mask are required upon entering building.
