Catheline Raffety, 83, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Robert Newcomb and Viola Sapp Newcomb, was born January 3, 1938 in Marion County, KY. She died at 5:14 P.M., Thursday, April 29, 2021 in Campbellsville.   

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Catheline was a receiving clerk at Wal-Mart before retiring after 30+ years of service.

She united in marriage to Fred Raffety September 15, 1956 and he preceded her in death June 16, 2020.

SURVIVORS: 2 daughters and 1 son: Glenda Colvin and husband Lynn of Campbellsville, Larry Raffety and wife Sherry of Finley and Kim Deener and husband Jeff of Campbellsville; 5 granddaughters: Leanna Cundiff and husband Shawn, Amy Burton and husband Mike, Jessie Newton and husband J.D. and Jennifer Sprowles and husband Scott of Campbellsville and Christy Higdon and husband Nick of Leitchfield; 6 great-grandchildren: Evan Cundiff, Chase Burton, Reese Burton, Bradley Newton, Kenzie Sprowles and Jeffrey Sprowles; 1 brother: L.C. Newcomb and wife Aline of Louisville and 1 sister: Sue Yates and husband Jody of Finley; several nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by 8 brothers; Geary Newcomb, Johnnie Newcomb, Gene Newcomb, Jim Newcomb, Bill Newcomb, Randall Newcomb, Jerry Newcomb and Joe Newcomb.
