Matthew Keith Chapman, 23, of Green County, KY, son of Bryan Chapman and Amy Bagby Chapman both of Green County, was born on Saturday, February 14, 1998 in Taylor County and departed this life on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Trammell Creek Baptist Church. He was a 2017 graduate of the Green County High School, was a graduate of the fire science program, was a honorary member of the Greensburg/Green County Fire Department, and loved to hunt and fish.

Matthew was also preceded in death by grandfather: Ronnie Chapman; and grandparents: Carlos and Louise Bagby; and two uncles: Mitchell Bault and Eddie Leftwich.

Funeral Service: Monday, April 26, 2021 at 1:00pmCT at Trammell Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Liletown Cemetery.
Visitation: Sunday from 2:00pm-8:00pmCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, from 7:00am-9:00amCT on Monday at the funeral home, and after 10:00amCT on Monday at the church.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the MSUD Support Group, or Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
