Virgil Thomas Cox, 70, of Campbellsville, KY passed peacefully from this life on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Taylor Regional Hospital. He was born on August 28, 1950 to the late Mike and Retha Merle (Johnson) Cox.

Virgil entered this world facing several hardships, yet all who know him speak highly of his kind and gentle demeanor, and cherish the time they had with him.

SURVIVORS:

4 siblings: Mary Lou Durham of Campbellsville, Frances Ritchie and husband David of Georgetown, James Clellan Cox of Lebanon, and William Sanford Cox of Hustonville

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends

Mr. Cox was laid to rest beside his mother and father in the Old Liberty Cemetery in Bradfordsville, KY on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
