Lawton Taylor “Junie” Davis, Jr., 67, was born March 29, 1954 in Jefferson County, KY to the late Lawton Taylor Davis, Sr. and Edith Ritchie Davis. He departed this life Saturday, April 10, 2021 at his home in Louisville.

Junie had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the United Methodist Church on Rockridge Road in Shelbyville, KY. He retired from Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, KY. Junie was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War Era. 

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Sue Davis.

2 brothers: Michael Tyrone Davis of Taylorsville, KY and Mark Steven Davis of Louisville, KY

2 sisters: Kimberly Lou Bishop of Cynthiana, KY and Twila Elaine Cowles of Louisville, KY

2 grandchildren: Amber Yvonne Bussell and Auburn Michelle Davis

2 great-grandchildren: Nora Rainn Bussell and Lorelei Wrenn Bussell
