Donald Keith Cox, 73, of Campbellsville, KY was born July 29, 1947 to Johnnie E. and Nancy Marie (Hardwick) Cox. He departed this life on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at his home.

He was a retired truck driver and farmer, and had served his country honorably in the United States Army. Mr. Cox had recently accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, and was of the Baptist faith.

2 grandchildren: Kaley Cox and Briley Cox

1 sister: Geraldine Parrish of Campbellsville

2 half-brothers and a half-sister: Michael, Terry and Linda Boren

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Thelma Boren, Joseline Osborne, Goldie Smith and Hallie Rattliff; a brother, Mitchell Cox and a half-brother, Larry Boren.

Funeral Service: Monday, April 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY with Dr. Brian Rafferty officiating

Burial: Jones Chapel Cemetery on Bass Ridge

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 5, from 11:00 AM until time for the service.
